Putting in Care, with Sofi Padilla

Sofi Padilla has made a career out of caring for artists and solid instincts for bands that make her move. She's on the brink of becoming a pawtist manager, but that'll have to come after her work in artist management for bands like Better Love, Heart Attack Man, and The Happy Alright. Sofi joins this week to talk about her early days in booking, her goals as an artist manager, and what she works toward with each band.

Her focus on playing the cool parts has taken her from rock camps to international stages with her acts Sad13 and Speedy Ortiz, and even book tours. Majoring in Ska, with Skatune Network

As one of the leading voices in the inevitable ska revival, Jeremy Hunter brings their own flavor and tastes to their YouTube channel, Skatune Network. What started as a holiday bop of "Feliz NaviSKA" quickly became a platform for showcasing remixed cartoon themes, video game tracks, and emo-blended renditions. Now Jeremy has their own cooking show, too, called Upbeat Eats. There's hours upon hours to really pick it up.
